What is JUX Carousel?

JUX Carousel is a lightweight but powerful Joomla module (only for Joomla 3.0) used to show images in slideshow. JUX Carousel uses Bootstrap library of Joomla 3.0, integrated with responsive feature so it’ll display gorgeously on all screen type, mobile or computer. In addition, our module will auto change size to fit the image’s size and the position you using it so you can use it anywhere, with any images. Also, we provide a simple and straight forward backend configuration so you can setup JUX Carousel with ease.

Server Requirements

JUX Carousel has several system requirements as follow:

• Apache 2.0 or above - http://www.apache.org recommended: Apache 2.0 or above.
• PHP 5.2.4 or above - http://www.php.net recommended: PHP 5.3 or above.
• MySQL 5.0.4 or above - http://www.mysql.com recommended: MySQL 5.0.4 or above.
• Joomla! 2.5 or above - http://www.joomla.org recommended: Joomla! 2.5.

You have to ensure that your system has already installed, XML and Zlib-Support built into your PHP.

PHP should be compiled with support for https (openSSL) and cURL.

PHP Safe Mode should be turned off.

Client Requirements

This module can run well on major browsers such as: Internet Explorer (version 7+), Firefox, Chrome, Opera 9+, and Safari. JavaScript must be activated.

Package Preparation

Unpack the installation package that you downloaded to your computer. You we’ll see these files:

Modules:

• mod_jux_carousel xxx j3.0.zip.
  • Installation file for Joomla 3.0.

JUX Carousel module Installation

Go to Administrator site => “Extension” => “Extension Manager” in the Top Menu.

In “Upload Package File” block, please Upload & Install our extensions:

• mod_jux_carousel 1.0.0 j30.zip: JUX Carousel for Joomla 30

Basic Option

Interval	The amount of time to delay between automatically cycling an item. If value = 0, carousel will not automatically cycle.
Pause on Mouse Over	Pauses the cycling of the carousel on mouseenter and resumes the cycling of the carousel on mouseleave.
Show Description & Title	Show/hide Description and Title.
Enable jQuery	Enable/Disable jQuery on module.

Data Source

JUX Carousel allows displaying 10 slides in maximum. You can configure for each slide with general information such as: image, URL, title & description.

Image	Select an image for slide
Title	Enter the title of slide
Description	Enter the description of slide
Url	Enter the URL of article for slide

• You can easily enable/disable jQuery in module to avoid jQuery conflict after installing the module.
• You can flexible display slide’s size by real image’s size of each slide. That means, slide will automatically adjust its side to fit with image’s real size.
