Overview

  What is Testimonial?

Jux Testimonial is an awesome component which helps you to display all of your clients, partners’ testimonials on your website at different positions with many beautiful styles.

No. Name Description
1. Display Testimonial config  You can enter the customer’s image/avatar, name, company, website, location… in the custom fields for the testimonial and the actual testimonial text in the “description”.
2. Form testimonial config (Option component) You can enter the customer’s email, company, website URL, Position, Location, etc in the custom fields for the testimonial’s submit form 
3. Testimonial layout (Type option)  Display testimonial to Grid, List or Slider layout

How to configure and setting?

            User needs to do step by step:

 - Install the testimonial component and testimonial modules.

 - Configure JUX Testimonial component and JUX testimonial modules.

·         These elements are all configuration that are used in Backend.

·         Manage Testimonials and blocked emails

·         Configurations

·         Setting menu items type.

   Requirements

     Server Requirements

Our extension has several system requirements as follow:

     -  Apache 2.0 or above - http://www.apache.org recommended: Apache 2.0 or above.

     -  PHP 5.2.4 or above - http://www.php.net recommended: PHP 5.3 or above.

     -  MySQL 5.0.4 or above - http://www.mysql.com recommended: MySQL 5.0.4 or above.

     - Joomla! 3.0 or above - http://www.joomla.org

You have to ensure that your system has already installed, XML and Zlib-Support built into your PHP.

PHP should be compiled with support for https (openSSL) and cURL.

PHP Safe Mode should be turned off.

    Client Requirements

This module can run well on major browsers such as: Internet Explorer (version 9+), Firefox, Chrome, Opera 9+, and Safari. JavaScript must be activated

 Manage Testimonial component and Testimonial modules

      Testimonial component

           Config option

The Configuration Panel is the most important of JUX Testimonial. You can access Configuration Panel by clicking on link “Option” in all views of component.

            Note that the Configuration Panel can be accessed by Users with Permissions “admin” only (by default).

-       Config option: Display testimonial config (You can enter the customer’s image/avatar, name, company, website, location… in the custom fields for the testimonial and the actual testimonial text in the “description”.)

Display Testimonial config (config option for component testimonial):

-       Avatar default: Choose avatar default if you not upload images.

-       Name: Show/ hide name use.

-       Title: Show/ hide title testimonial.

-       Email: Show/ hide email use.

-       Position: Show/ hide position use.

-       Company: Show/ hide company use.

-        Location: Show/ hide location use.

-       Show date: Show / hide date.

-       Vote: Show / hide vote.

-       Config option: Form testimonial config (You can enter the customer’s email, company, website URL, Position, Location, etc in the custom fields for the submit form testimonial.)

Form testimonial (config option for component testimonial):

-       Position: Show/ hide position

-       Company: Show/ hide company.

-       Location: Show/ hide location.

-       Website URL: Show/ hide website.

-       Avartar: Show/ hide avatar.

-       Vote: Show/ hide vote.

-       Captcha: Show/ hide captcha.

        Configure Backend base information

To configure Testimonial, go to Component à JUX Testimonial à Testimonials

Main view Testimonial

Main information:      

-       Client Name: The client name who posted the testimonial.

-       Client email: The client email who posted the testimonial.

-       Website URL: The client website who posted the testimonial.

-       Position: The client position who posted the testimonial.

-       Company: The client company who posted the testimonial.

-       Location: The client location who posted the testimonial.

-       Approved:  Approved (yes or no).

-       Title: Title for this testimonial.

-       Vote: Vote for this testimonial.

-       Avartar: Select avatar upload.

-       Testimonial: The testimonial content.

Main view Blocked emails:

Main information:      

-       Client email: The email of client who posted the testimonial.

-       Blocked reason: Reason to block this email.

-       Blocked by: The admin, who block this user, default is the current user.

-       Blocked date: The block date, default is current time.

 Configure Frontend View

     Manage menus

-       Go to “Menu” -> “Main Menu”

 

Add new menu item à Select Menu Item Type à choose exist menu link of JUX Testimonial

Display testimonial config: This configuration help you to enable or disable show contact infos of your customers. (Configuration specific testimonial).

Main information:

-       Limit char: Show char limit display testimonial.

-       Name: Show/ hide name use.

-       Title: Show/ hide title testimonial.

-       Email: Show/ hide email use.

-       Position: Show/ hide position use.

-       Company: Show/ hide company use.

-        Location: Show/ hide location use.

-       Show date: Show / hide date.

-       Vote: Show / hide vote.

-       Submit button: Show/ hide submit button.

-       Submit button possition: The position of submit your testimonial button.

-       Enable Jquery:  on/ off jquery loader.

-       Enable noConflict: on/ off noConflict.

Type option: You can choose different styles and layout in this tab.

Main information (Select type: Grid)

       -  Select type: Option select type display testimonial (Two type grid and slider).

       - Column: Enter the number columns layout display testimonial.

              + Column = 1 is List layout

              + Column = 2 or 3 is Grid layout

        - Rows: Enter the number rows layout display testimonial.

        - Select style: Select style display testimonial (10 beautiful styles are there for you to select)

 

Main information (Select type: Slider)

-       Select type: Option select type display testimonial (Two type grid and slider).

-       Column: Enter the number columns layout display testimonial.

-       Items limit: Display items limit of slider

-       Select style: Select style display testimonial.

-       Rotate delay: Delay in milliseconds between rotations- if set to 0 the automatic rotation effect is disabled.

-       Auto play: Set to yes to auto play in testimonial slider.

  Manage modules

We provide you a module based component so you can display component on your site in different positions.

Go to Extension -> Module Manager

Module mod_jux_testimonial

Go to Extension à Module Manager -> Type is “JUX”,then search it.

-       Module  (config module testimonial):

Basic option:

-       Limit char: Show char limit display testimonial.
